Lumecca – closing spider veins and removing pigmentation
Lumecca InMode is an advanced IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) system which, thanks to high-intensity light pulses, effectively reduces pigmentation and vascular changes and improves the overall condition of the skin.
About the treatment
Lumecca is a modern IPL device from InMode. It emits high-power light that is absorbed by the dark pigments in the skin: melanin in pigmentation and haemoglobin in small vessels. The light energy breaks up the pigment and closes fine vessels, and over a few days the body clears them naturally. This way the treatment works precisely on the changes while the surrounding skin stays untouched.
The treatment removes sun spots and age spots, post-acne marks, dilated vessels and redness, and also improves the overall tone, smoothness and glow of the skin. A series of treatments also stimulates collagen production, so the skin is firmer and more elastic. The treatment is safe, takes up to 40 minutes and does not require a long recovery. Afterwards pigmentation first darkens and then flakes off after a few days.
A series of 3-5 treatments is recommended. We perform the treatment on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

Frequently asked questions
Lumecca is for people with sun spots, post-acne marks, dilated vessels or redness. It also works well on tired, uneven skin and signs of photoageing on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
You usually need a series of 3-5 treatments, and one treatment takes up to 40 minutes. We set the exact number at the consultation, because it depends on the type and severity of the changes.
The first results show after 1-2 weeks, once the pigmentation flakes off, and the full effect after about 3 weeks. The result lasts at least 6 months if you protect your skin from the sun.
Right after the treatment the skin is red and warm. Within 1-2 days the pigmentation darkens, and after 7-14 days it flakes off in fine pieces. You go back to your daily routine straight away, but do not pick at the marks and use a cream with SPF 50.
Lumecca works with light, so we do not do it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on a fresh tan (solarium included) or with photosensitive epilepsy. We will postpone the treatment if you have an infection or inflammation on the skin, or if you take photosensitising medicines, for example isotretinoin in recent months, some antibiotics or St John's wort. We are also careful with a tendency to keloids, suspicious moles, skin cancer and flare-ups of autoimmune disease. We go through all of this at the consultation, so you do not have to judge it yourself.
A few rules are worth remembering before the treatment. Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before the treatment. Do not take antibiotics for at least a week before the treatment.
Pigmentation first darkens and then flakes off after a few days, leaving skin lighter and more even. Dilated vessels become less visible or disappear, and redness fades. Over a series of treatments the skin also becomes smoother and more radiant, and the symptoms of rosacea ease.
Prices start from 100 PLN. The exact price depends on the area and the chosen variant of the treatment. You will find the full price list in the Price list section.
The information is general. We choose the treatment individually during the consultation.
