Hair loss
Hair loss can strongly lower your mood. It is worth starting by finding the cause, and treating the treatments as support that nourishes the scalp and stimulates the follicles.
What it is
Physiologically we lose some hair every day, but when there is clearly more hair loss, the hair becomes thin and the parting wider, it is worth reacting. Hair loss can be temporary (e.g. after childbirth, stress, illness) or chronic.
Hair reflects the state of the whole body, so with increased hair loss we also recommend blood tests and a consultation with a doctor.
Where it comes from
- Stress and overwork. They can cause temporary but heavy hair loss.
- Hormonal changes. Childbirth, the menopause and thyroid disease affect the hair growth cycle.
- Deficiencies. A lack of iron, vitamins and protein weakens the follicles.
- Illness and medication. Some conditions and therapies can cause hair loss.
- A neglected scalp. Inflammation and excessive seborrhoea worsen growth conditions.
How to recognise it
- More hair on the brush and in the drain
- Thinner and weaker hair
- A wider parting
- Irritated or oily scalp
How we solve it
Scalp mesotherapy delivers nutrients to the skin and supports the hair follicles. Platelet-rich plasma, a preparation from your own blood, stimulates the regeneration of the scalp and hair growth.
We perform the treatments as a series. For increased hair loss we recommend first a consultation and tests with a doctor, because the cause may be general and the treatments will not remove it on their own.
Treatments that help
What you can do every day
- Check your vitamin D3, ferritin and iron levels regularly
- Exfoliate your scalp regularly
- Gently massage your scalp (it stimulates circulation and the follicles are better nourished)
When to book a consultation
If the hair loss is sudden, patchy (alopecia areata) or accompanied by other symptoms, first consult a doctor.
Frequently asked questions

The treatment can cause discomfort, which we ease. We discuss the details before the treatment.
No. With chronic or increased hair loss the treatments are an addition to diagnostics and treatment.
The information is general and does not replace a consultation with a doctor.
