After the treatment: what to expect
After the treatment the scalp may be red and tender to the touch, and small bumps or tiny drops of blood may be visible at the injection points. This is normal. Everything usually goes away within a few hours to the next day.
Do not wash your hair for 12-24 hours, and during that time do not use a straightener or the hot setting of a hairdryer. After that return to your usual care, but choose a gentle shampoo. For 24-48 hours avoid saunas, swimming pools, solariums, intense exercise and tight hats and headbands. Do not scratch your scalp.
In the first weeks you may notice temporary hair shedding, because the treatment stimulates the growth cycle. The first results, meaning less hair loss and new short hairs, usually show within a month. Full improvement in density is visible after the whole series of treatments.
