Tattoo removal
Tattoo removal is carried out with a modern Nd:YAG Q-Switch laser, which works through a photomechanical reaction. The laser energy penetrates the tattoo pigment and breaks it down into very fine particles. The body's natural mechanisms, the immune system, then gradually remove these fragments from the skin.
About the treatment
The treatment is safe, precise and does not harm the healthy tissue around the pigment. Each subsequent session gradually fades the tattoo until it is completely or maximally removed. It is worth remembering, however, that with some pigments or intense colours a faint outline of the tattoo may remain.
The result of a series of treatments is a clear lightening or complete removal of the tattoo, restoring the skin's natural look and allowing safe further care.

Frequently asked questions
For people who want to remove or lighten an unwanted or faded tattoo, prepare it before a cover-up, or remove permanent makeup such as brows.
You usually need 6-8 treatments, and one takes about 30 minutes. The exact number depends on the size, colour and depth of the tattoo.
The first lightening shows 3-4 weeks after the treatment, and the full effect after the whole series. Once the series is finished the result is permanent.
The skin is red and slightly swollen, and blisters and scabs may appear, which you must not pick. Healing usually takes 1-2 weeks. During this time use the creams we recommend and SPF 50, and avoid the sun, saunas and swimming pools.
We do not remove tattoos during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on a fresh tan, on skin with an active infection or inflammation, or with a tendency to keloids. Photosensitising medicines and products, autoimmune disease and poorly controlled diabetes, as well as skin cancer and suspicious moles in the tattooed area, also rule it out. We discuss an allergy to tattoo pigments at the consultation.
A few rules are worth remembering before the treatment. Avoid sunbathing and solarium for at least 2-4 weeks before the treatment. The skin at the tattoo site should be healthy and not irritated. Do not use peels or acids on this area. Tell us about any medication and allergies.
The tattoo fades gradually, from one treatment to the next. The laser breaks up the pigment and the body slowly absorbs it. Sometimes the design can be removed completely and sometimes only lightened a lot, because the result depends on the colour, depth and age of the tattoo. That is why at the consultation we tell you openly what to expect in your case.
