Dermapen: microneedling for scars, stretch marks and wrinkles
Dermapen is microneedle mesotherapy: gentle skin punctures combined with the introduction of active substances. It is a treatment for people who want to smooth the skin's texture, reduce scars or improve firmness, without a long recovery.
What Dermapen is
Dermapen is a device with pulsating, sterile needles of adjustable depth (0.5-2.5 mm). We choose the depth for the problem and the area, for example a different one is used on the face and a different one for stretch marks. This way the therapy is matched to the needs of the skin.
How it works
The microneedles cause controlled micro-injuries in the skin. The skin reacts with a repair process: it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. At the same time, through the resulting microchannels we introduce active substances into the deeper layers of the skin, where they work more effectively than in a cosmetic applied to the surface.

Who should not have the treatment
We do not perform the treatment, among other cases, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with active purulent acne, infections and cold sores, with a tendency to keloids, during a flare-up of autoimmune diseases, with skin cancers in the treatment area and with an allergy to the substances used during the treatment.
How to prepare
Stop retinoids, acids and peels 5-7 days before the treatment. Avoid sunbathing and solarium for 1-2 weeks. About a week before the treatment do not take aspirin and ibuprofen without a consultation. If you get cold sores, be sure to tell us before the treatment.
What the treatment looks like
The treatment takes about an hour and is performed on the face, neck, décolleté or hands. Usually 3-4 treatments are needed, and we choose the number according to the problem. The specialist chooses the active substance and the depth of the needles, and after the treatment applies soothing care.
After the treatment
The recovery period lasts up to 2 days. The skin may be red and sensitive. During this time use gentle skincare and SPF, and we will give you further instructions after the treatment.
When the results show
The effects are visible up to 2 weeks after the treatment and build up with subsequent visits. The skin becomes smoother and firmer, its tone evens out and the pores are less visible.
